Whether you are in need of a highly structured and supervised program, or if you are simply looking for outpatient counseling, we offer various treatment services for adults (18+) with behavioral health issues and mental illness.
Service Goals
It is our goal to:
- Provide all residents with a safe and clean living environment, food preparation facilities, and access to treatment services.
- Guide residents towards independence and personal responsibility.
- Develop interpersonal skills for eventual re-integration back into society as constructive and responsible citizens.
- Teach social skills including personal hygiene, money management, and the ability to assertively communicate needs to the appropriate resources.
- Aid and monitoring in self-administration of medication.
- Offer residents an opportunity to live and function in a community environment while following their specific court-ordered terms, if any.
- Intensive outpatient programs treatment consists of Substance abuse victims, bipolar disorders, depression, etc.
- AA & NA: clients will attend both the alcohol and the narcotics anonymous meeting twice a day, six days a week.
- Behavioral Health Services will be provided by our RN and Psychiatric doctors: substance abuse disorders, mental health disorders, suicide violence and behavioral related chronic diseases.
- Residents will participate in group and individual counseling by our BHP.

Admission and Readmission Criteria
Criteria for admission and readmission are the same.
- Persons age 18 and over
- Medical concerns do not necessitate 24-hour nursing supervision
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Axis II personality disorders, Axis I mood disorders, anxiety disorders or thought disorders which require and can reasonably respond to therapeutic interventions.
- The resident can maintain a less restrictive environment to stabilize his/her condition.
- The resident has identified case management needs such as assistance with application and maintenance of medical and/or financial benefits, linkage to other agencies and providers, advocacy services, clinical outreach and/or community-based interventions, ongoing need for clinical monitoring and supervision services and intensive support treatment.
- Resident presents issues that can be effectively addressed through Stargate Behavioral Health Services LLC services inclusive of Life Skills, Educational, Personal Development, Assistance with Self-administration of Medication, and Recreational Programming.
- Have mental health medication and diagnosis that does not exceed the supervision capabilities of these scope of services.
- Must be a willing participant in the collective treatment and be willing to abide by applicable house rules
- Must not be currently a physical or severe psychological threat to themselves, to personnel, or to other residents
- Must not have repeatedly damaged property or have recent documented cases of theft of agency or resident property
At this time hearing or visually impaired residents cannot be accommodated at Stargate Behavioral Health Services LLC.
We can provide services for non-English speaking residents by contract with a language services interpreter.
